Instructions For Authors

Articles electronically submitted for consideration of publication will be sent for assessment to two experts in the field of specialisation outlined on the Aims and Scope of the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (JHSS). The editors will make the decision to publish or not to publish the articles based on the comments of the peer reviewers. The names of author(s) should come immediately after the title. Then an abstract of 200-300 words should accompany the article manuscript. The manuscript articles, within the range of length of 6,000 to 8,000 words, should be free from any typographical errors as editors shall correct only the final versions of the manuscript articles. The Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (JHSS) adheres to the current stylesheet of the American Psychological Association (APA).

Plagiarism Check: The Editors shall run each article through the anti-plagiarism software, including AI generated materials. Authors must check their articles for plagiarism before sending them to the Chief Editor and also before signing the anti-plagiarism declaration. Any article found to have been plagiarized will be rejected outright.
